Harry Potter Wizards Unite Gets Dark Arts Month Event For October

Rejoice, Dark Art disciples! Harry Potter: Wizards Unite features its first events on Dark Arts (in the muggle world, it’s some analog to Halloween, though with shifted dates). Within this event, the game will feature various spooky innovations: gloomy creatures to hunt, terrible news, and the whole new world to discover with your eyes finally open.

The First Week of Darkness: The Hunt and The Undead Feast

The first part of the event starts on October 8, and the bad news is that you are even unluckier than Harry Potter in the mastery of your dark art. He had bad or fake teachers; you have none. You’ll have to start straight ahead and take your quests.

The main quest, named Fighting Forces Brillian Event, will be centered around a dangerous Azkaban prisoner who managed to escape. Its real identity is hidden (maybe he wasn’t mentioned in the canon at all), and his alias is Brilliant Death Eater. He must be a serious enemy. The chase will continue until October 14.

There will also be other quests and stands with minor enemies, like regular (if that’s the word) vampires, werewolves, and other creatures like Doxy Oddities. You will get your extras for them, but not that extraordinary. Most new entities will be introduced on October 19, the Community Day. These days are similar to the celebrations conducted by Niantic for Pokémon GO. The bad news (or the good, if you want to miss it intendedly) is that the event will only last for one day.

The Second Week of Darkness: And the Return of the Hunt

The second part of the event will take place from October 22 to October 28, and this week will be about Fighting Forces Brilliant Event 2. This time the enemies will be a Brilliant Sirius Black (siriusly?) and a Dementor that can resist strongly. No one knows so far what the chances of seeing them are, but probably you’ll have your chance of encountering them.

Finally, on Halloween, there will be a bigger and louder version of the Community Day, with exclusive quests and spooky creatures appearing densely. The details aren’t fully published yet; anyway, Dark Arts are about concealing much of your intentions. It’s only leaked that the players will get limited-time rewards for completing special quests.

There will also be special chambers in the fortress the players will access only for one day. So you better launch Harry Potter: Wizards Unite every day to get your rewards and access special quests.
